About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide care and support to our clients in their homes.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support to elderly clients to enable them to stay independent in their homes
• Visiting clients in their homes within the Barwon region, covering Geelong and surrounding areas
• Supporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and transportation to appointments

Requirements:

• Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
• Current drivers license
• A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
• Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smartphone or tablet
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
• A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain

What We Offer:

• Base hourly rate of $30.61 plus 11% superannuation
• Eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax benefits)
• Travel allowance of $0.99 per km and paid travel between services
• Daily mobile allowance paid when using your own device for work-related purposes
