As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for executing project workscopes, analyzing and modifying new and existing engineering technologies, and leading the project engineering team through design review, constructability, and HAZID. You will also manage subcontractor and equipment manufacturers, ensure HSE / quality and commercial delivery, and support and develop engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentorship, and educational opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Project Manager to execute project workscopes and ensure regular client interfacing.
- Analyze and modify new and existing engineering technologies and apply them in the testing and implementation of engineering projects.
- Lead the project engineering team through design review, constructability, and HAZID, and offshore execution.
- Manage subcontractor and equipment manufacturers, including documentation preparation and overseeing SIT and FATs.
- Take responsibility for work packages and ensure HSE / quality and commercial delivery.
- Support and develop engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentorship, and educational opportunities.
- Significant experience in subsea design or project delivery.
- Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical / mechatronic / civil / structural / ocean engineering or naval architecture.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project. Specialist software (ie Solidworks / Orcaflex) engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
- Full driving license required.
- Capable of obtaining offshore survival course and passing associated medical exam.
- Full Australian working rights required.
