Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic students to join our cross-domain computing solutions department on a part-time contract for 12 months. As a member of our student group, you will be studying mechanical or electronics engineering and be in year 2 or 3 of your degree or hold a diploma or technical certification in electronics or metrology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating external calibration packing and returns
  • Leading external calibration tasks and driving process improvements
  • Suggesting and participating in calibration improvement projects
  • Supporting the calibration process owner with process tasks and discussing metrological requirements with equipment owners
  • Assisting with problem-solving related to calibration issues
  • Attending quality and calibration team meetings

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work well within a team with senior engineers while also working effectively individually
  • Strong interest in innovation and openness to opportunities to utilize learnings from your degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and ISO17025 standards (desirable)
  • Knowledge of metrology or experience with capability studies (desirable)
