Job Title: Educational Manager, Health and Community Services

Job Summary:

The Educational Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of education. This opportunity involves leading the development and implementation of academic frameworks to ensure alignment with educational strategy and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Envision a compelling future for the organization, formulating clear goals and leading teams toward success through thoughtful decision making and effective communication.
  • Human Resource Management: Ensure the implementation of human resource management policies, programs, and strategies to foster a productive working environment.
  • Future Focussed: Support the design of learning programs for current and future knowledge and skills needs, providing flexibility to offer learning opportunities as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality education by implementing assessment and evaluation strategies, monitoring academic progress, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Industry and Community Relations: Develop and enhance relationships with industries, government agencies, employer groups, and communities.
  • Equal Employment and Education Opportunity: Provide direction and leadership to ensure equal employment and education opportunity principles are known and applied by all stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in Adult or Vocational Education;
  • A Diploma in Management (AQF5) or a Graduate Certificate in Management; or
  • Undergraduate degrees in both Adult or Vocational Education and Management;
  • An undergraduate degree and formal postgraduate qualifications in Adult or Vocational Education and Management.
Desirable Skills:
  • Proven experience in successfully leading a team.
  • Educational operations management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of educational best practices and trends.
  • Excellent stakeholder partnering skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, project management, and strategic thinking experience.
  • Trade or relevant professional qualifications and experience.
  • Refined interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement educational strategies.
