The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join the maintenance team at SeaLink K'gari (Fraser Island), a world-renowned tourist destination in Queensland, Australia. As a Resort Maintenance Handyperson, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and repair maintenance across the resort.
About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work within a professional team of dedicated tradespeople to ensure seamless operations. This role requires unsupervised work, utilisation of power tools, multi-tasking, and application of workplace H&S protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake preventative and repair maintenance tasks as required
- Utilise power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve shared goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports as necessary
Skills and Experience:
- Strong safety focus and experience working in a similar role
- Hold a relevant trade qualification, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience
- Diverse repairs and maintenance experience, preferably in a resort or hotel environment
- Hold an unrestricted Driver's Licence
