Global Principal Enterprise Architect Role Overview

This role involves collaborating with our dynamic global Enterprise Architects team within the new SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. As a Global Principal Enterprise Architect, you will be the business partner to regional Enterprise Architect teams, helping customers drive digital transformation using cutting-edge SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, promoting Clean Core principles, and accelerating SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will develop comprehensive enterprise architecture models for customers, aligning with their enterprise goals and collaborating with virtual account teams as a transformation partner.
  • Guide customers through their cloud journey, focusing on adopt and derive, starting with enterprise archetypes and scaling digitally.
  • Provide enterprise architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure every customer benefits from SAP's cloud qualities.
  • Act as the Transformation Partner for CIOs or other CxOs, driving architecture effectiveness.
  • Support adoption, identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks.
  • Align customers and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerate BTP adoption, and promote SAP best practices.
  • Provide customer context to all teams, enhancing customer proximity and experience.
  • Articulate the value of designed target architectures and possible intermediate/transition steps, providing guidance on realizing identified benefits.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and flexible cloud environments for mission-critical processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years in customer experience roles, with experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, along with experience with BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles.
  • S/4HANA technical or functional knowledge/experience.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at senior management and C-levels, both within IT teams and across business functions.
  • Mindset for strategic thinking, continuous learning, and business acumen.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
