LBH Accountants is a professional practice located in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, providing tax and business advisory services to a diverse range of clients.

About this role

  • We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar discipline and at least 10 years of experience in professional public practice.
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly desirable.

About you

  • You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, statutory ATO reporting requirements, income tax returns, BAS, and FBT for businesses and individuals.
  • Additionally, you will provide administrative support and statutory reporting for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
  • You will also assist with other ad hoc projects as required.
  • Effectively liaising and communicating with the ATO, auditors, financiers, team members, and clients is essential.

What we look for

  • Strong technical taxation knowledge.
  • Experience with Handisoft suite of products would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Class, MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while being meticulous and accurate.
