Electrical Engineering Specialist

An opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineering Specialist to join a leading engineering design consultancy. The role involves working across a diverse range of building services and infrastructure projects, including commercial developments, healthcare, education, and transportation.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer to step into a leadership position while continuing to develop technical expertise on complex projects.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across large-scale projects
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
  • Act as the primary client interface, providing technical and project leadership
  • Review and oversee design packages to ensure compliance with standards and sustainability objectives
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development and technical growth
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in building services / MEP design within a consulting environment
  • Strong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, building automation, and energy efficiency solutions
  • Proven ability to lead projects and multidisciplinary teams through design and delivery phases
  • Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, with a track record of successful relationship management
