Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team at VetPartners. As a Veterinary Nurse - Ophthalmology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level nursing care and extending your nursing knowledge in a specialist field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional patient care and nursing services in a busy ophthalmology referral hospital
• Working closely with our team of specialists, residents, and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
• Assisting with surgical nursing, anesthesia, customer service, and patient care
• Collaborating with staff at all levels of the organization to achieve excellent patient outcomes
• Participating in ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in veterinary nursing
• VSB registered
• Great work ethic and ability to work quickly and efficiently in a close working relationship with your fellow teammates
• Highly effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• An amazing 'can do', team player attitude
