About This Role

  • We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team in Sydney, working on road and asset performance contracts.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and streetlighting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of traffic signals and ITS equipment is a key aspect of this role.
  • The ideal candidate must ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
  • They must adhere to occupational health and safety protocols in line with company policies.
  • The successful applicant will participate in on-call and relief service rotations.
  • Opportunities for training and development are available to enhance the candidate's capabilities relevant to the contract.
  • Emergency response coordination is also a critical aspect of this position.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the review and improvement of operational and maintenance procedures.
  • They will support the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer in delivering asset management planning services.

About You

  • An electrical licence and relevant trade experience are essential.
  • Experience with ITS and/or traffic signals is highly regarded.
  • A valid driver's licence is required.
  • A Construction White Card is also essential.
  • The successful candidate should be willing to provide after-hours support when required.
