Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a skilled Technical Publications Specialist to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team in Brisbane, QLD.

About the Role:

This permanent full-time position will involve coordinating and maintaining technical publication amendments for implementation of UH-60M Black Hawk publications, supporting distribution through ICT systems, and collaborating with the System Program Office to establish and maintain publications capability.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking coordination and/or maintenance of technical publication amendments
  • Supporting distribution of publications through ICT systems
  • Collaborating with the System Program Office to establish and develop publications capability

We are looking for an individual with strong computer literacy skills, who is self-motivated and outcomes driven, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment. Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Communications or Information Technology, from a recognised institution, or equivalent relevant experience preferably within the defence industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within an engineering and/or maintenance environment, preferably within the defence industry
  • Familiarity with DEF (AUST) 5629C and Australian Air Publication (AAP) 7000.003
  • Awareness of configuration and change management principles with AAP's
  • Ability to condense complex concepts into succinct explanations
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and XML skills
  • Knowledge of adjacent ILS disciplines, including Logistics Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, and Training Development
  • Previous experience with ADF aviation publications and amendments
  • Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)

Special Requirements:

The successful applicant must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
