The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Dutton Automotive Buying Services team as a Senior Automotive Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing and purchasing vehicles on behalf of the business, achieving strong results and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have either previous experience in automotive sales or a strong desire to learn, with the right drive and skills to succeed in this role. As a member of our team, you will be provided with mentoring and on-the-job training to help you grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all client and customer queries
  • Providing exceptional customer service to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve results
  • Multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Australian Police Check
  • Strong commitment and hunger for success
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Ability to think on their feet and make sound decisions quickly
  • Knowledge of luxury European and unique vehicles
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing vehicles from the private market
  • Strong eye for detail with a proven ability to visually inspect a vehicle's condition
  • A growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills
