Job Summary

This is an ideal role for an ambitious and motivated individual seeking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic office setting. As a Junior Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including opening and closing matters, handling enquiries, organizing meetings, and preparing legal documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage case files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in document preparation and filing
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Prepare and edit legal documents, including letters, reports, and contracts
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as photocopying, printing, and scanning
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a law firm or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
