We are seeking a skilled translator with a passion for life sciences content to work on an exciting project.

  • Native fluency in the target language - spoken and written
  • Fluency in the source language(s) - spoken and written
  • At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing and editing life sciences content including clinical trial documents
  • A university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 2 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
  • The ability to work according to tight deadlines and independently
  • Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools

This is a freelance opportunity to work with us on a global scale. You will have the chance to collaborate with experts in the field and contribute to the development of life sciences content.

About This Opportunity

You will be responsible for translating and editing life sciences content from Xhosa into English. Your role will involve working independently and meeting tight deadlines. We require you to have native fluency in the target language and fluency in the source language(s).

Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in translating life sciences content, including clinical trial documents. A university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 2 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience is also required. Additionally, we need someone who can work according to tight deadlines and independently, and has experience with translation management systems and CAT tools.
