About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our team in Canberra. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for performing manual testing activities, including infrastructure, SOE, applications, security, and disaster recovery testing for a Defence stand-alone network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria and detailed designs
  • Identify, raise, and manage defects
  • Report on testing activities and results
  • Contribute to defect management
  • Participate in reviews of technical documentation
  • Liaise and work closely with project engineers and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in:
    • Essential:
      • Experience as a Test Analyst in an infrastructure environment
      • Experience in a Windows Server/Desktop environment
    • Highly Desirable:
      • Experience working with HP Quality Centre/ALM Test Management Tool
      • Experience working in a Defence environment
      • Experience with VMWare and associated components
      • Understanding of change management and agile methodology
    • Desirable:
      • Experience working in an Agile environment
      • Knowledge of Networks
      • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using VMware
      • Knowledge of ACSC/ISM Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential eight
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with technical leads & project management and meet project deadlines
  • Ability to independently learn new concepts and skillsets and improve upon existing technical knowledge
  • NV2 Security Clearance (Highly Desirable)
  • NV1 with ability to gain NV2 Security Clearance (Essential)
  • Canberra based (Essential)
