Job Overview

An exciting opportunity awaits to contribute to the founding engineering team at a young, committed organization focused on solving problems in the packaging industry related to sustainable procurement, impact reporting, order & project management.

The goal is to create a managed marketplace underpinned by a project management tool that benefits both customers and the environment.

About the Role
  • Architecting & building new features and systems using React, Next.js, GraphQL, TypeScript.
  • Working with Engineering and Product leaders to scope, prioritize, and deliver product features.
  • Developing & supporting AI capabilities in the platform including RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
  • Contributing to and influencing the ongoing design and architecture of core platforms and services.
  • Sharing and learning best practices, patterns, and new technologies.
Your Skillset and Qualifications
  • Pragmatic decision-making in an early-stage startup prioritizing delivery, experimentation, and adaptability over perfection.
  • 2+ years of experience building frontend and backend web products using technologies like React, TypeScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of writing testable, maintainable code and automating tests for stable code with minimal bugs.
  • Providing and receiving constructive feedback leading to better solutions and outcomes.
