Aged Care Nursing & Leadership Roles in Regional Queensland

As a Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse, Clinical Manager or Residential Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and person-centered care to our residents. You will be responsible for managing clinical assessments, care plans and medications, collaborating with allied health and care teams, and taking advantage of career development pathways.

The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, minimum 4 years of nursing experience, proficiency in Australian Triage Scale (ATS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), venepuncture and cannulation, confident working in small teams or independently, strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, willingness to travel and commit to 12-week locum contracts.

  • Deliver high-quality, holistic emergency care in small hospital settings, often as the sole RN on shift, managing a broad spectrum of presentations.
  • Perform triage using the Australian Triage Scale (ATS).
  • Respond confidently to a wide range of presentations, from walk-ins to trauma, acute medical events, and general health concerns.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in facilities that may also include aged care beds and subacute care, requiring adaptability to various patient needs.
