Key Position in Indigenous Student Success
This role is pivotal in the success of our Indigenous student body.
- Support Services:
- Tutor Coordination and Development: Oversee the recruitment and training of tutors to ensure high-quality support for students.
- Student Engagement and Communications: Assist with event planning, scholarship dissemination, and social media/web presence management.
- Eligibility and Documentation Processes: Advise students and tutors on YTP eligibility and documentation requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have experience working with Indigenous communities, and be knowledgeable about relevant legislation.
About this Role: As an Indigenous Student Success Program Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic success and well-being of our Indigenous students.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective support strategies for Indigenous students;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance student engagement and retention;
- Provide guidance on YTP eligibility and documentation processes;
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven experience working with Indigenous communities;
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
