About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Service HVAC Technician to fill this key position in our team.
The successful applicant will have a strong background in HVAC/Mechanical maintenance and operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of specific requirements for facility operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical work on building services equipment in accordance with safety, quality and customer standards ensuring that objectives and expectations are met.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC/Mechanical systems, including compressors, pumps, water treatment systems, refrigeration, air conditioning.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Quickly respond to and troubleshoot mechanical faults or breakdowns, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all HVAC/Mechanical systems operate efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical environments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to maintain seamless operations of facility systems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including shift logs, system performance, and repair tasks.
- Monitor environmental conditions and mechanical system outputs to align with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
- Support external contractors during scheduled repairs or maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest mechanical technologies and industry trends to maintain best practices.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a HVAC/Mechanical Technician, preferably within facility operations.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, compressors, pumps, and water treatment systems, as well as maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environments is highly preferred.
- A strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- HVAC/Mechanical & Refrigeration trade qualifications (required)
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in HVAC/Mechanical maintenance.
- FPA accreditation (desirable).
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment (highly preferred).
- The ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to pass a National Police Check.
