Commercial Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager to lead our commercial strategy and contract management in the Pilbara region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, fostering strong customer relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting to execution and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage agreements, communications, and variation claims.
  • Provide expert advice on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders.
  • Update pricing for monthly fuel adjustments and annual rise and falls.
  • Apply a deep understanding of business drivers and market trends to guide commercial decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and additional contracted services.
  • Support tender development and responses in collaboration with the General Manager Commercial and Business Development teams.
  • Deliver customer-centric solutions that meet expectations and drive value.
  • Make sound, timely decisions using analysis, experience, and judgment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in logistics, mining, or transport sectors.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth/State contracts and commercial legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
