About the Role

: The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Network Architect to design, engineer, and implement network solutions for customers. This position will provide support for computer data communications network systems by providing engineering specifications, modifications, and inspections for computer networks.

Key Responsibilities

: As a Cyber Network Architect, you will be responsible for supporting all engineering tasks for LAN/WAN networks, including site surveys, coordination, design, and installation of new equipment. You will also coordinate network engineering support and upgrades, perform configuration management functions, and ensure accurate asset management records. Additionally, you will configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (VLANs) and be responsible for all network engineering tasks involving Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade, and Foundry OS.

Required Qualifications

: To be successful in this role, you should have experience in design, engineering, and operation of small to large customer networks, as well as experience with military networks, CISCO routing and switching, and network troubleshooting. You should also have knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VOIP or multicast protocols, and Cisco Switching/Routing product line. Furthermore, you should have in-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade, and Foundry OS, as well as strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing. Hands-on experience diagnosing network-related issues and ability to work independently to resolve technical issues are also essential. Finally, you should hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and Security+ Certification, and meet the education requirement of a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 4-6 years of prior relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

: A CCNA or other advanced networking certificate would be beneficial, as well as experience with HP NNM, Cisco Prime, and CiscoWorks. However, these qualifications are not mandatory.
