We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformational Business Analyst to join our GTS Technology team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of banking, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business growth and innovation.


About the Role


This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions that transform the banking experience. As a Transformational Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:



  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement business solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders
  • Providing technical leadership in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex business systems and processes
  • Ensuring seamless integration of new technologies with existing infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors

Your Key Responsibilities


You will be responsible for:



  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Identify stakeholders and maintain collaborative working relations; elicit and analyze business requirements and engage with key stakeholder groups
  • Requirements Analysis and Lifecycle Management: Ensure project meets customer and business needs, aligned to overall strategy by scheduling workshops, defining 'As Is' and 'To Be' business processes, developing detailed business requirements, reviewing documentation, and supporting testing activities
  • Best Practice and Delivery Methodology Compliance: Understand and adhere to enterprise methodologies and processes
  • Risk Management: Ensure project-related risk is within desired levels and managed according to agreed risk frameworks
  • Reporting: Regular status reporting on project progress and risks
  • Community of Practice - Business Analysis: Contribute to Westpac Group's Community of Practice for Business Analysis

What We're Looking For


We're seeking a candidate with:



  • Prior experience in Financial Services, preferably with knowledge of PING Identity (PING Authorize)
  • Technical skills in data structures, policy-based authorization, or ForgeRock Identity
  • Business domain knowledge of identity and security, as well as tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience


Location: Sydney, NSW
