Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As an integral part of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and creative chef to take charge of our à la carte offerings and drive menu development. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure seamless food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase your culinary expertise and creativity in à la carte dining.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement, recognize excellent performance, and foster a positive team environment.
  • Adhere to inventory management practices, minimize waste, and optimize equipment usage.
  • Perform additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a busy à la carte environment is highly valued.
  • Valid working visa for Australia.
  • Commercial Cookery or Culinary Arts qualifications from a registered training provider.
  • Current Safe Food Handling Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
  • Team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset.
  • Capacity to prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
