The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will be site-based and report to the Project Manager. Based in Central Queensland, this role suits a proven Project Engineer or an up-and-coming Site Engineer with proven project delivery experience. You will be directly mentored and supported by a well-established leadership team, working on a newly awarded project that includes a major bulk earthworks package from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects through their full cycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive positive project outcomes.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor and control project costs, resources, and risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong site-based experience working on projects through their full cycle.
- Experience across mining infrastructure, earthworks, structures, and/or road construction.
- A team player who wants to drive positive project outcomes.
