Job Description">

As a skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for interpreting and following construction plans to build and install various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings. This involves measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and other structural elements.

You will also install doors, windows, cabinets, and other finishing touches to complete the construction process. Your ability to collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards is crucial.

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health and safety protocols is also an essential aspect of this role.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Construction Carpenter (Trade Qualification) with a minimum of 2 years in the trade.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing job site conditions.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being proactive.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check.
