Occupational Health Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team in the delivery of occupational health services.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality employment-related health assessments and initiatives.
  • Conduct occupational health assessments, including pre-employment medicals, audiometry, spirometry, ECGs, drug screening, functional capacity assessments, and fitness testing.
  • Timely and accurate reporting, high-level compliance, and observation of privacy act.
  • Worker health checks, general administration, monitoring, and maintaining stock levels & equipment.
  • Health and wellness projects, initiatives, training, and promotion, contributing to client relationship management, continuous improvement, and business growth initiatives.
  • Commitment and compliance to a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Health Science (Nursing) or similar health discipline.
  • High interest in occupational health.
  • Registration/accreditation with AHPRA.
  • Current and maintained First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain/renew).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build rapport.
  • Intermediate to strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and using two screens.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Team contributor.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • A very high level of care and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously and as a team.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience/exposure to Occupational Health.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS.
  • Experience or Qualification in Audiometry.
  • Experience or Qualification in Spirometry.
  • Experience or Qualification in Drug and Alcohol Screening.
  • Valid Drivers Licence.
