About the Role

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Brisbane Region. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including general ultrasound, obstetrics and gynecology, musculoskeletal, and vascular.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with Queensland X-Ray's standards and protocols
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced radiologists who have a special interest in women's imaging
  • Stay informed through regular updates with local breast surgeons and tertiary referral centers
  • Participate in student training and education programs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, staff, and referrers

Requirements:

  • Full ASAR registration
  • Current accreditation in Nuchal Translucency Imaging
  • Preeclampsia accreditation highly desirable
  • 5+ years of experience as a fully qualified Sonographer
  • Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ongoing commitment to skill development and personal growth
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
