Fresh Service Team Member

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused team member to join our deli team as a Delicatessen Team Associate. As a key part of our store's success, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling a wide range of products, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

About the Role

This is a casual role offering seasonal employment from October to February, with the possibility of ongoing work. You will be required to work various shifts, including Wednesday mornings from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday mornings from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday mornings from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience;
  • Handle a variety of products, including meats, cheeses, and other delicatessen items;
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures;
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve store objectives;
  • Be flexible and adaptable, responding to changing priorities and workload demands;
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the store's overall performance;
  • Participate in visual merchandising and stock management activities, ensuring a visually appealing store environment;
  • Perform other tasks as required by your supervisor or manager;

We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
