About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Intrax. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on hydraulic and fire services for commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients on matters relating to engineering services, including commercial, residential, retail, local government, office fitout, and industrial projects.
  • Provide design and documentation of hydraulic and fire services for commercial building projects, including specifications and project planning.
  • Sign off on hydraulic designs and manage multiple building services hydraulic and fire designs simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with Australian standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering design.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Services or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Minimum 10 years of local Australian experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of Australian standards in relation to mechanical engineering design.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and Hyena Software Calcs, as well as Standard Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent client communication and liaison skills, with the ability to convey information accurately.
  • Registered Building Practitioner or Chartered Professional Engineer status would be an advantage.
