Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner

This is a permanent, full-time role in our Council that focuses on ensuring the health and safety of our employees. As a Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner, you will be responsible for partnering with all sections of the business to provide advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing a workplace safety culture that embeds safety practices into the core of our business.
  • Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Providing training and coaching to employees and leaders on WHS best practices.
  • Investigating incidents and assisting in the implementation of effective risk controls.
  • Tracking and reporting on WHS performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a WHS business partner role.
  • Qualification in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Incident investigation and/or root cause analysis certification.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
