Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in transforming the world's water resources through innovative solutions and collaborative approaches.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive rainfall, flow, and flood assessments, including modeling, mapping, flood mitigation design, and risk assessments.
  • Support the development of our group's capability in stormwater management and flood studies, applying expertise in both mining and urban environments.
  • Assist in various water management-related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hydrogeology, geotechnical, civil, and environmental disciplines.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and support proposals for diverse mining clients.
  • Provide entry-level support and/or assist project management, including project scoping, budget control, planning, and development of schedules.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field with a strong focus on hydrology and hydraulics.
  • At least 3 years' experience in water engineering, preferably with exposure to the mining or resources sector.
  • Technical expertise in water balance modeling, flood studies, and drainage design.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with hydraulic and flood modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, and MIKE).
  • Excellent technical writing skills with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting.
