Lead Educator - Early Childhood Diploma Role

This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in a key leadership role. As a qualified Diploma holder in Early Childhood Education and Care, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of educators in delivering high-quality early education and care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience in a similar leadership role. You will be passionate about creating engaging and inspiring learning environments that foster the growth and development of children.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of each child, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role:

  • Lead and guide a team of educators in delivering high-quality early education and care.
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of each child.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain effective routines and a well-organised learning space.
  • Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader or strong interest in taking on a leadership role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
