About the Role

We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in heavy haulage driving, excellent navigation skills, and a strong commitment to safety. As a Heavy Haulage Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Heavy Haulage Vehicles: Safely transport goods to and from specified locations using heavy haulage vehicles.
  • Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the vehicle when necessary.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, work/rest periods, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers, providing updates on delivery status.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Heavy Haulage Driver, preferably within Western Australia or similar environments.
  • Licenses: Valid and current Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (HR, HC, or MC class) required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of Western Australia's road networks and traffic laws. Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations. Ability to operate GPS and other navigation systems efficiently.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
