Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join our Operations business in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST). This role offers an opportunity to join our expanding Operations team, as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond.

This permanent full-time / part-time (job share)/ contractor engagement basis position is based in Perth CBD, where you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs.

You must have full work rights to work in this Australian location.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary qualifications from a recognised institution and related discipline and have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a purchasing role within the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Experience with ERPs in an EPCM environment (including SAP)
  • Experience in Supplier Relationship Management
  • Be commercially astute with a solutions mindset
  • Be customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood.
