a national leader in occupational rehabilitation is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Rehabilitation Consultant in our Wagga Wagga office.

This challenging yet rewarding position offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping injured workers recover and return to work as quickly as possible.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Rehabilitation Consultant will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and working closely with them to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.

In addition to case management, the successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals, employers and employees to develop and implement effective injury prevention and workplace education programs.

The successful candidate will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports, adhere to strict confidentiality requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of occupational rehabilitation principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A current NSW driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
