This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced contaminated land specialist to join our QLD team in Brisbane.
As a key member of the team, you will lead on complex investigations, site remediation, and environmental risk strategy.
- Collaborate with contaminated land auditors and interface with the national CLM team.
- Provide technical guidance and share expertise, ensuring robust, high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Offering technical oversight on complex investigations and providing expert advice to colleagues.
- Supporting professional growth by encouraging and guiding colleagues at all levels.
- Building positive relationships with clients, auditors, regulators, and internal teams through clear communication.
- Contributing to business development by helping prepare proposals and support initiatives that expand our capabilities and client base.
We seek an industry expert with:
- Industry certifications (CEnv P-SC, CPSS-CSAM) or a desire to obtain them with support.
- 15-20+ years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia.
- A strong working knowledge of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM).
- Excellent writing, reporting, and client communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to complex sites.
- A desire to lead, mentor, and grow your technical influence in the wider industry.
