This position requires an individual with exceptional technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the financial reporting operations strategy, partnering closely with FP&A and accounting teams to design and implement effective cost and department allocation methodologies, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the company's financial statements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with building financial statements and financial reporting processes, as well as people and stakeholder management experience. They should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with equity accounting and Shareworks, and the ability to work with large data sets and large number of team members. Additionally, they should have exceptional organizational skills to balance deadlines with available resources, pay meticulous attention to detail, and have a solid understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements.\r

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the financial reporting operations strategy by implementing repeatable and robust processes to prepare US GAAP and IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Partner closely with FP&A and accounting teams to design and implement effective cost and department allocation methodologies that support our financial reporting needs and strategic decision-making.
• Determine and manage timelines for financial statement preparation and work collaboratively with various business partners and auditors to ensure such timelines are met.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company's financial statements in accordance with accounting standards through the implementation of robust controls.
• Support accounting, FP&A, and investor relations with quarterly internal and external reporting needs.
• Perform technical accounting research and prepare/review technical memorandums that document issues and conclusions in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards and practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide research or training to business and accounting positions regarding complex accounting issues.
