Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an integral member of our community-based services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with neurological conditions.

Your expertise and passion for occupational therapy will enable you to work collaboratively with clients and their families to set and achieve goals. You will also be responsible for managing complex clinical and social situations, while providing evidence-based occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert occupational therapy services to adults with neurological conditions in a community setting
  • Collaborate with clients and families to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
  • Manage and coordinate client care, including assessments, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current drivers licence and suitable vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for working with adults with neurological conditions
