Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of legal matters, including drafting and advising on various client and commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate will have prior commercial legal experience, ideally in a private practice setting. You will deal with a variety of legal matters, and your responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and advising on client and commercial contracts;
  • Assisting with legal matters, including privacy and regulatory issues, employment law, and disputes;
  • Researching legal issues and providing commercial advice;
  • Supporting senior lawyers and contributing to the development of the team.

You will be based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and will work collaboratively with the General Counsel, Head of Legal, and senior lawyers in the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Laws (or Juris Doctor) and eligible to practice in an Australian State or Territory;
  • 2-4 years of post-admission experience in a private practice setting;
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
