Executive Chef Position

About the Role
  • Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase local ingredients and cater to diverse tastes.
  2. Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
  3. Staff Management: Foster a positive work environment, provide coaching and training, and promote career growth opportunities.
  4. Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, controlling costs and ensuring profitability.
  5. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality food preparation, presentation, and plating standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven track record in high-volume kitchen environments, with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
  • Qualifications: Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, Western and Asian qualifications acknowledged.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate teams, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Food Safety: Demonstrated knowledge of quality food preparation, kitchen hygiene practices, and OH&S standards.
