The Deal Advisory Tax team at KPMG is a market leader in the Australian market, known for working on significant transactions across various sectors including private equity, infrastructure, property, and financial services. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and we are growing our real estate practice to meet their needs.

Your Opportunity

This role offers you the chance to work on a wide range of clients and transactions across our national practice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tax due diligence and advisory services
  • Structuring deals and fund structures to ensure optimal tax outcomes
  • Reviewing transaction documents to identify potential tax risks and opportunities
  • Providing tax model reviews to support deal-making decisions
  • Ensuring seamless post-deal integration and compliance with tax regulations
  • Corresponding with government authorities such as the ATO and FIRB on transaction-related matters

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong tax technical skills and experience in transactional tax advisory services
  • A commitment to client service with a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex tax concepts
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supervising and mentoring junior staff members

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. This includes a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
