Speech Pathologist

EACH Victoria seeks an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team of Allied Health professionals in a rewarding career in early childhood intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-informed support to families in partnership to achieve their goals.
- Tailor support options to each child and family using assessments, observations, and understanding of child development.
- Empower families, caregivers, and professionals through coaching to build skills and confidence to support children in everyday lives.
- Connect children and families with their community to ensure inclusion and participation in chosen settings and activities.
- Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
- Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Expert knowledge in child development and ability to identify developmental issues.
- Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
