About the Role
This permanent, full-time position comes with an attractive remuneration package, estimated to be between $84,000 and $121,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Education, and hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or have the ability to obtain it prior to commencement.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching music classes to students from Year 5 to 10
- Taught another subject if applicable, taking advantage of opportunities within the school's curriculum
- Supporting the development of students' musical skills and promoting their love for learning
- Engaging with local community members, parents, and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment
