Job Title

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and engineering, with experience in renewable energy projects such as solar farms and battery storage systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and implement electrical systems and products
  • Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, installation and operational standards, specifications and designs for electrical systems or components
  • Analyze electrical system requirements, capacity, cost and project needs and then develop a system plan
Requirements
  • 10+ years of detailed design/engineering experience in 132kV and above Substation & Transmission Lines in Australia
  • Experience in renewable PV Solar Farm and/or large-scale Battery Storage projects (minimum 100MW)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NER, AEMO, and NSP regulations
  • Proficiency in HV substation design and Transmission Lines
  • Ability to develop detailed electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, technical proposals and reports
