ADF Health Services delivers comprehensive healthcare solutions to personnel of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) throughout Australia.

In collaboration with Bupa, Serco provides a range of clinical and support staff across more than 50 on-base locations nationwide, ensuring that ADF members receive high-quality medical care on-site.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional clinical care to patients.

You will create and uphold patient care plans, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient management, and conduct patient assessments while overseeing both outpatient and inpatient treatments.

Key Qualifications
To excel in this position, you should possess:
  • Unwavering personal integrity and ethical standards.
  • Current, unconditional registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of 12 months of postgraduate experience within the last five years in an acute care, primary health care, or military environment (or part-time equivalent).
  • Recent engagement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in line with AHPRA requirements.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
About the Healthcare Facility
The Edinburgh Health Centre is situated at RAAF Base Edinburgh, approximately 25km north of Adelaide.

This significant base accommodates 3,500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF and is home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine, staffed by both uniformed and civilian medical professionals.

The health centre features a 22-bed inpatient facility, operational 24/7, along with services in general medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmacy, and minor surgical procedures.
