Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team on a major construction project. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized individual who wants to be part of shaping the city's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the project management team, including document preparation, filing, and organization, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining project calendars.
  • Document Control: Manage the project's document control system, including the creation, distribution, tracking, and filing of project-related documents, such as contracts, drawings, specifications, permits, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with document control procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries, both internally and externally. Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assist in coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of materials, equipment, and services procured for the project.
  • Financial Administration: Support project budget management by assisting in the tracking and reporting of project expenditures, preparing invoices, and processing payment requests. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Monitor and promote adherence to health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site. Assist in the preparation of safety documentation, incident reports, and maintaining safety records.
  • Project Reporting: Assist in the preparation of project progress reports, presentations, and other project-related documentation. Collect and compile data from various sources to provide accurate and timely updates on project status and key performance indicators.
