The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans for the department.
- Mentor staff and early career researchers, and contribute to the academic community through scholarly engagement and publications.
- Expand the faculty's HDR program by attracting top-tier candidates and building internal and external partnerships.
We are seeking an experienced academic leader who can foster a collaborative and high-performing team, drive curriculum and research programs that align with our strategic priorities, and build robust partnerships within and outside the university.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.
- Internationally recognised research profile in Banking and Finance, evidenced by high-impact publications and sustained scholarly engagement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to mentor staff, collaborate effectively with academic peers, and represent the department across faculty and University committees.
