Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead our publishing division's design team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving cohesive design direction across our product suite, aligning with business goals for a unified user experience.
You will champion user-centricity by advocating for user needs through research and data, ensuring insights inform strategic design decisions. You will also collaborate closely with product leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders to solve intricate user problems and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Our ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in Product Design or equivalent, with a strong portfolio showcasing expert-level design skills and delivering impactful, scalable solutions. They have 2+ years of experience in managing and developing designers, including performance and career growth.
A proven ability to lead end-to-end design for large-scale, strategic product initiatives is essential, influencing strategy from concept to launch. Expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design for exceptional user experiences is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Drive cohesive design direction across our product suite.
- Champion user-centricity by advocating for user needs through research and data.
- Collaborate closely with product leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Solve intricate user problems and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design or equivalent.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expert-level design skills.
- 2+ years of experience in managing and developing designers.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end design for large-scale, strategic product initiatives.
