About the Role

The Support Worker – Cleaning is a critical position at Calvary Care, responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, will be performed according to established schedules.
  • Cleaning tasks must be completed efficiently and effectively to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • The Support Worker – Cleaning will also be responsible for contributing to a safe and healthy environment by following infection control and occupational health and safety procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require experience in cleaning tasks, such as mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning. Knowledge of safe chemical handling is also desirable.

  • You will be required to complete cleaning tasks in accordance with infection control and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services and maintaining a clean and safe environment is essential.
  • You will be working in a team environment, therefore excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
