Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced gymnastics coaches to join our team at the Five Dock Leisure Centre. As a gymnastics coach, you will be responsible for developing and progressing gymnasts, providing support to other coaches, and attending gymnastics competitions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement gymnastics programs for recreational and competitive gymnasts
  • Provide coaching and guidance to gymnasts of all levels
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to achieve program goals
  • Attend gymnastics competitions and events as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 'Advanced' Accreditation in the Gymnastics Australia Coaching framework
  • Extensive experience in gymnastics coaching
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation

Senior Coaches: $42.10 per hour (including casual loading). Additional weekend penalties apply to the base rate (Saturday +25% & Sunday + 50%).

Gymnastics Coaches: $36.70 to $39.82 per hour (including casual loading). Additional weekend penalties apply to the base rate (Saturday +25% & Sunday + 50%).

Fundamentals Coaches: $34.98 per hour (including casual loading). Additional weekend penalties apply to the base rate (Saturday +25% & Sunday + 50%).

Beginner Coaches: $33.17 per hour (including casual loading). Additional weekend penalties apply to the base rate (Saturday +25% & Sunday + 50%).

Junior Coaches: $15.39 to $26.42 per hour (including casual loading). Additional weekend penalties apply to the base rate (Saturday +25% & Sunday + 50%).

Working with Children Checks

This position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998, and the City of Canada Bay is required to conduct Working with Children Checks on the preferred applicants.
